The latest version of Chrome is 12, and if installed from the Google website, should auto-update (I'm not sure about the version in the default repositories). Software center will attempt to handle any apt:// requests, however Adobe is referring to a package that is not in your repositories and that is what is triggering the problem.
To see if this affects all packages (which would be a bug) can you please attempt to install a package that is in the repositories from your web browser using apt://<insert valid package name here> and then tell us whether that fails or not. Can you please also find out the exact name of the package that the Adobe website is trying to install via apt? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/815118 Title: Fail when installing afobe flash on amd64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/815118/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
