Affects me, MacBook 5,1. Blessing worked after ~100 times ;) (Using OSX Lion) Then cleaning PRAM and everything is working. (Cmd+Alt+P+R at startup) It looks like grub2 image created was broken - bug maybe? I used Grub2 super cd to boot my Ubuntu installation, and from there I made new grub2 efi image. Now I can boot in efi mode :) Does anyone know some details on what happened this bug? I am interesed in fixing this bug, before 11.10 release :) I will try to send some logs from installation.
