Public bug reported:
I have recently updated my Dell Precision M6400 notebook from Ubuntu
10.04LTS to 10.10 and 11.04 (10.10 was only used for 10 minutes). Now I
am unable to suspend or even turn off the computer because it freezes.
I'm also unable to swith to console mode by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 or F2
etc. Important to mention that the screen is blank during boot so I
think is is a problem with switching to text mode resolution. I also
tried to change nvidia drivers but the problem remains.
