Public bug reported:

Hi everyone, I'm reporting that but because i've a bug with the sound
server. When I'm on stereo playing, no problem if I lower the sound. But
with 5.1, if the sound is less than 100% it just add a very light white
noise, a bit like the wind under the door, but the sound is not
crackiling and doesn't have any distorsion.
