Hi Brendan, As suggested by you, when I selected "Suspend" from the power menu, my laptop got switched off. Again when I pressed power button of the laptop slightly, it showed be same freezed black screen. The only option again left for me to restart my laptop again. It seems that problem is with suspending the system (as told by you). I tried running "apport-collect 815942" but it asking me for the access to my Launchpad account including my private data. Will it not lead to security breach?
I am not sure whether to provide such access or not. :( Thanks & Regards, Kushal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/815942 Title: Screen getting locked when laptop is idle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/815942/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
