KiCAD by default does not have many footprints, you might want to download a better library from another website such as: http://smisioto .no-ip.org/elettronica/kicad/kicad-en.htm (remember to search for package type not part name)
I personally just create a new footprint or modify a current one on-the- fly when I can't find exactly what I need.
