Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scim

For occasional users of input methods, scim should have a means by which
the program can be quit. If this is not done as a user interface
element (perhaps a "Quit" option on the context menu of the notifation
area applet), perhaps scim could quit when no clients are currently
using it (and it is not launched as part of the user's session). I
suspect the former is easier.

** Affects: scim (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
