At this time, I cannot reproduce the problem. Probably, if I had a system image from before it could be reproduced. It "feels" to me like, after the upgrade, evolution wanted parts of it's configuration database under new directories. During the conversion it crashed causing this bug report. Thereafter the incomplete conversion, and programmatic attempts to correct the conversion, also failed. I did not see early attempts, because the command window was not open for the hung sessions.
So that is why I included the bash history of what I did to correct the problem. That is about all I can say. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/815932 Title: evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in gdk_cairo_set_source_pixbuf() following upgrade 10.10 to 11.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/815932/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
