Since 3.0.0-6.7 was based on upstream v3.0-rc7 and 3.0.0-7.8 was based
on upstream v3.0 final, I had Dave first try mainline v3.0-rc7 to see if
we could eliminate the Ubuntu patch delta and bisect just the mainline
kernels. Unfortunately Dave reported that v3.0-rc7 failed which was a
little unexpected (as I'd have expected it to pass). So, in an attempt
to get us to a position where we can bisect the issue, I've built a
custom kernel with the Ubuntu patch set up through 3.0.0-6.7 and applied
it on top of v3.0 upstream. Please test and let me know your results.
Thanks!
