Ah, ok. Purging the package will not remove files created from using the package (by policy... you wouldn't want that purging f-spot removes your imported fotos ;)).
Since you want to get back to the original state, can you remove ~/.faumrc and /home/astrobob/.faum (that's where IMAGE_PATH in .faumrc points to)? Then launching faum will prompt you again to choose the architecture etc. Btw.: the configured size of the virtual hard drives, MEDIA_SIZE is in MB, so 30 Gb will certainly take a few minutes... depending on the speed of your real hard drive. P.S.: the launcher/configurator faum certainly has lots of room for improvement. It was written back then as an interim solution by me, and somehow never got replaced by a well-designed tool :/. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816213 Title: Faum freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/faumachine/+bug/816213/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
