Thanks for your bug report. Please open a terminal, and run alsamixer.
Once alsamixer is open, use the left/right arrow keys to find the mixer
control albeled "External Amplifier. Once found, use the M key to turn
it off.
Once done, please test whether you get any sound. Please keep us
informed as to the results.
