Just realized I never attached my fstab. Here it is:

# <file system> <mount point>   <type>  <options>       <dump>  <pass>
proc            /proc           proc    defaults        0       0
# /dev/hda7 -- converted during upgrade to edgy
UUID=c7bdef3c-9738-4421-ad3f-49fb85b101cc / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
# /dev/hda5 -- converted during upgrade to edgy
UUID=1b8ecf93-f29b-4f53-879c-f75dcc843117 /home ext3 defaults 0 2
#/dev/sda5 /home ext3 defaults 0 2
/dev/sda3 /media/sda3 ext3 defaults 0 2
# /dev/hda6 -- converted during upgrade to edgy
#UUID=5ab48cb4-79b0-4e15-b41c-ff4075b885ec none swap sw 0 0
/dev/sda6 none swap sw 0 0
#/dev/hdc        /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto     0       0

For the record, I'm still having this problem with almost every reboot,
with sporadic exceptions.
