System is Ubuntu 11.04 Natty with the latest kernel and userspace
updates. Debugging is problematic since this happens only once in three
months. (Note that the kernel is tainted by nvidia closed source
graphics driver but the bug happens without it too)

** Affects: linux-lts-backport-natty (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
