My Printer is actually a Samsung 325W. There was no color profile installed under /usr/share/foo2qpdl/icm ...
So I went to ~> http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/ downloaded and installed foo2qpdl After that, the 325 driver option showed up, so I changed the driver. Under system-config-printer Resolution was at 1200x600 dpi, and I changed it to 1200x1200 I changed Adjustment --> half-tone algorithm to Well Tempered Screens (best). And ICM Color Profile was set to CLP-320/325 -*-* When I tried printing, a page printed with: SPL-C ERROR - Please use the proper driver POSITION : 0x0 (0) SYSTEM : src_5.47/xl_image LINE: 629 VERSION : SPL-C 5.47 01-15-2010 Now I can't make this error go away. Even if I make uninstall foo2qpdl. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/817296 Title: Diagonal streaks when printing some images To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/817296/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
