Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Every few hours OOo Writer hangs while refreshing the user interface
(UI) slowly. I can see how each icon and other elements of the UI is
refreshed repeatedly while the CPU is used with 100%. Usually I can
still save the currently open file and shutdown OOo safely but this
takes up to two minutes because OOo is very unresponsive and slow. I saw
a post in the OOo mailinglist of another user facing the same problem
but can not find it anymore.
