Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: libvte4
After doing an upgrade this morning, synaptic failed to launch with:
synaptic: error while loading shared libraries: libvte.so.4: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
Checking the package libvte4 shows that is only installs libvte.so.9
(and libvte.so.9.1.2)
I created a symlink libvte.so.4 to libvte.so.9, and synaptic then works
fine.
