Hi, I have studied your proposition (with libnotify) but I think it isn't possible cause Sbackupd is launched by the root . To get a notification, it seems that one has to launch a Gnome session under its ID (which is never the case ) . Anyway I think that is to be classify as a wishlist . And we'll be workin on that for a new version .
But what worries me the most is that after you killed sbackupd the lock file remains and prevent you to relaunch . But that lockfile isn't valid anymore ... -- sbackup: defunct + 100% cpu usage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
