Pedro, there is no System -> Preferences menu in Natty so I'm transposing the initial example to System Settings "Control Center". The situation is the same in Natty.
Most applications exit with ESC, for example; About Me, Appearance, Assistive Technology, Broadcast Accounts, Broadcast Preferences. Yet some require ALT+F4, eg; Compiz Config Settings Manager, Email Settings, Launcher & Menus, Messaging and VOIP Accounts. Note that the host application itself, "Control Center" (called "System Settings" in the menu) can also be dismissed by ESC. If you like, I can make a complete list. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337964 Title: Power Manager is the only System->Preferences.. tool that can't be dismissed with ESC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/337964/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
