Again, the touchpad is not working, and not being recognized by xinput
list. Could someone out there please give me some options? Aside from
fixing the bug, which seems to me to be something that could or could
not happen expediently, could someone at least maybe suggest how I might
go about hard-coding my touchpad information into a file somewhere (i.e.
xorg.conf or hal preferences or .. something?) so that I could force my
system to recognize my touchpad EVERY TIME?
