The "Affect:" label is: (a) Grammatically inconsistent... (all/most other toolbar labels are nouns) (b) Sylistically inconsistent... (toolbar labels are pretty rare. The icons, tooltips and layout should speak for themselves) (c) Uninformative... (what is affecting what?) (d) Redundant... (the tooltips are far more informative)
However, "Effect" is incorrect too (see comment #11). I think the best bet is just to get rid of it! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/590686 Title: "Affect:" toolbar label should be renamed/removed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/590686/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
