I've found this old version about this issue. Maybe the rubber.patch was
removed from the official release, so it re-surfaced again?
supertuxkart (0.6.2+dfsg1-1) unstable; urgency=low
* Drop rubber.patch again as it was taken from 0.6.2 branch
and is part of this release
