I think I've addressed all of these concerns in the recent upload, with
the exception of wayland-scanner.
For wayland-scanner, it is expected that compositors will have their own
Wayland protocol extensions, and that it would be useful for them to use
the same protocol generation infrastructure as libwayland. The demo
compositors in wayland-demos do this, so it's necessary for libwayland-
dev to ship the aclocal files and wayland-scanner.
