Hi Colin, How are you?
I'm a "advance" home user, but I work with a lot of people that are "dummy" users migrating from windows to Ubuntu. Here in Brazil many NGOs are migrating too and I help them to install Ubuntu distro. So they have hard time using the new tool, it's no so difficult, but it's not so easy as gparted. What to improve? I think: graphics, you can see your HD with windows and other partitions (some people still need to keep windows), so if you see clearly which is its partition is easear... and the resize possibility is very interesting... Gparted with graphics in the first screem is perfect to have an idea of the overall partition system... So is that, have a overall system with a hd map and have the possibility to resize partitions... These are my suggestions! Thank you a lot for repplying me! I'm not going to revert to gparted, so I need to know what to improve. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin Watson Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- Partition software during install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105157 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Partition software during install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105157 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
