On Oneiric (Ghostscript 9.04) the original reproducer, sample.ps makes
Ghostscript error out with "Error: /execstackoverflow" after some
minutes. evince seems to try to display the file repeatedly as on the
calling terminal "execstackoverflow -5" appears every few seconds.
reduced-reproducer.ps makes Ghostscript error out with "Error:
/execstackoverflow" nearly immediately. evince again gives
"execstackoverflow -5" appears every few seconds.
PostScript printers are not able to print the files when sending them
unfiltered via
nc -w1 PRINTER-IP 9100 < INPUT.PS
So the files are definitely broken, but the problem of Ghostscript
crashing on them is fixed. Closing ...
