Update manager automatically rollbacks to the older version of the
kernal as the patch is not an official repo.

What to do now? every time I update something using update manager
kernal rolls back to the official version and I have to manually
reinstall the patch again. This is real pain as I have thousands of
custom softwares installed and updates are too frequent, almost daily.

Is there anyway to prevent update manager to rollback this patch
automatically? It naturally prefers the version in the official repos
and I have to go through this painful exercise of applying patch almost
daily.
