Glad to have a programming competent person report this bug. They way I got here was to check the version of pm-utils on Ubuntu 11.04 and Lubuntu 11.04. Same version.
Lubuntu does not use Unity although it installs some unity files. My problem with freezing is the window darkens and I cannot use Chrome, cannot switch to other tabs, cannot do anything in an open Chrome tab, did I say this happens when using my default browser.
