This error appears to be because you have some remnants of the old 2.6.38 kernel installed, without the corresponding old headers. So bcmwl is failing to build for those old kernels which you're probably not even using.
Please run this command and attach the output to this bug: dpkg -l linux-\* | grep 2.6 Once done, please change the Status back to New. Thanks in advance... ** Changed in: bcmwl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/818753 Title: bcmwl-kernel-source 5.100.82.38 bdcom-0ubuntu4: bcmwl kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/818753/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
