Hi,
There is a difference about this file in ubuntu and in debian.
This file is needed by the package usplash to work, but while in debian it's
packaged in the usplash package (
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?searchmode=filelist&word=usplash&version=unstable&arch=amd64
) in ubuntu it's in the lsb-base package.
This file should be in the usplash package like in debian because only usplash
needs it. I downloaded the version of that file that is in usplash package in
debian and the one in ls-base in ubuntu and made a diff:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ diff -Naru Desktop/lsb-base-logging.sh-debian
Desktop/lsb-base-logging.sh-ubuntu
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
So they are exaclty the same.
this /etc/lsb-base-logging.sh can be used by also other bootsplash
programs, this is why i'm asking to change the package of that file.
