Same kind of bug here under Ubuntu 11.04 / Shotwell 0.9.3:
- Imported some pictures includinf portrait pictures.
- Ran Shotwell and saw the pictures fine. Closed Shotwell.
- Ran find . -iname "*.jpg" -exec jhead -autorot -ft -n"%Y-%m-%d %H-%M-%S" {}
\;
in order to rename the files and to make the portrait pictures display
correctly in the other applications
- Restarted Shotwell. The thumbnails are misshaped and the original size
pictures appear rotated.
Restarting Shotwell does not solve this problem. Rotating the pictures inside
Shotwell makes them appear Ok both in Shotwell and in the other applications.
- Another issue which may be related: Shotwell does not display all the
files contained in my directories. I am constantly running rm -Rf
~/.shotwell to scan them again :-(
