I haven't at the code, but the I can recreate the import error the
post-install script is running into:

ImportError: cannot import name fixtag
Looking at the current python docs, I don't see anything about fixtag --
anywhere. I've never heard of it, and unsure where it's meant to have
come from, but it sure isn't a part of the standard lib at this point.
Either there's an additional dependency, or this is a typo...
