"I was trying to update and I got an error. Then I wanted to report the bug, and I got this other error."
The day before, I wanted to install a program from USC and got an error related to my python path(set 2.6) so I changed the path to 2.7 but the USC wouldn't start so I re-changed it to 2.6. After booting the next day, I got your exact error and reported it. Bug#824047. Was the error when trying to update related to python in any way? What is your default python version? *USC == Ubuntu Software Centre -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780076 Title: <type 'exceptions.SystemError'>: E:Method has died unexpectedly!, E :Sub-process returned an error code (100), E:Method /usr/lib/apt/methods/ did not start correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptdaemon/+bug/780076/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
