I have found an interesting work around to this issue. At the root of the problem is a miscommunication between OpenOffice/LibreOffice via PostScript. Therefore if you make OpenOffice/LibreOffice communicate using PDF this issue disappears.
In LibreOffice 3.4.2: File>Printer Settings>Properties Select the Device tab Change Printer Language type to PDF via the drop down menu Problem Solved! I don't know a lot about printing but I could see where this may not work on older printers that do not support the PDF format natively. I would guess that when you print a PDF file normally it is converted to PostScript then sent to the printer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/712850 Title: First Page From Different Tray Fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/712850/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
