I looked at this and it seems OK from a MIR/packaging/maintainability
standpoint (though I'd like to see a bug subscriber). But I'm not sure
that a binary split is sufficient. I would expect a source split to be
required. I'll leave that to doko's judgement as an archive admin as
well.
