** Description changed: Open dconf-editor and experience it's usability on a hp netbook, resolution 1366x768. 1. It opens in fullscreen mode, although it isn't set in: ca -> desrt -> dconf-editor 2. Navigate to: com -> canonical -> indicator -> datetime The values aren't displayed because the input field is almost invisible. (video #1) 2.a Click on all values will keep it displayed, except the click on 'time-format' will hide the value. (video #4) (similar as #5.) 3. Resize the window from fullscreen to it's normal status. The values are visible, but the window length stretches over two workspaces. It's possible to increase window height, it isn't possible to decrease it in order not to stretch over two workspaces. (video #2) Window height can only be decreased to a certain limit. 4. Window space is wasted, it's empty between text at the beginning and the bottom. 5. Navigate to com -> ubuntu -> update notifier Click on all values will keep it displayed, except the click on value 'regular autolaunch interval', which will hide it. (video #3) Workaround regarding to desktop resolution and window size: CCSM plugin window rules -> size rules class=Dconf-editor width = 753 height = 613 + dconf-editor is also missing a search function in order to find values. + + ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: dconf-tools 0.7.5-3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0-3.4-generic 3.0.0-rc5 Uname: Linux 3.0-3-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Jul 18 20:36:26 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110423) ProcEnviron: LANG=C SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: d-conf UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
