Right, that would explain why the new alsa-backports package wasn't pulled in
automatically after it was released.
Note that this is only an issue if the kernel ABI changes. So updating
2.6.32-33 shouldn't cause any issues, but when installing 2.6.32-34 make sure
that the new alsa-backports package is available as well.
Now that you know the reason for this issue: if you notice any
significant, reoccuring delays - don't hesitate to open a bug about it.
Maybe there's a way to improve the workflow and/or packaging.
