I have an up to date install, I don't even have an indicator-battery package available, though I have the gnome power manager. When running via command line, I see similar output as some of the posters above (some gibberish about not finding a file). Interestingly enough, Battery-status works just fine ( http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/02 /battery-applet-status-ubuntu/ ), though now I'm having trouble getting indicator applet to remove the power icon.
Occasionally I also get other images going "missing", e.g. the wireless icon. Yay unity still being full of holes. ^^ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801180 Title: battery indicator is not displayed in oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-icon-theme/+bug/801180/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
