Actually there are two issues here but the failure for byobu not
installing lies in what looks like a typo in python-central:
File "/usr/bin/pycentral", line 358, in get_debian_config
return decian_config
NameError: global name 'decian_config' is not defined
This typo isn't present on my Ubuntu 11.04 system in /usr/bin/pycentral. Which
version of the python-central package is installed on your system? Please
update this package to the latest version or if it is already latest version
try reinstalling with this command on a terminal:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall python-central
Does that solve the issue?
