Taylor Braun-Jones, this issue is unreproducible in LibreOffice Impress
via the Terminal:

cd ~/Desktop && wget -c
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/212031/+attachment/255883/+files/Duplex%20printing%20guide%20for%20Brother%20DCP-7020.odp
-O info.odp && loimpress -nologo info.odp

Export to PDF and open in Adobe Reader, looks the same. Does this work
for you? If using Lucid or Maverick feel free to perform at the
Terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-impress
