My computer has 2 hard drives: About a year ago I installed on the first 
windows 7 home premium and on the second drive I installed Ubuntu 10.04, which 
was upgraded to 11.04 immediately after it was released.
 Everything was fine, using Ubuntu was a pleasure, boot time was about 45 
seconds  till a few days ago, when suddenly the boot time became much longer - 
several minutes.
I read that many users have been facing the same problem and could not find its 
origin and a solution, except trial and error...
 Release: 2.6.38-10-generic.  Gnome 2.32.1.
