Printing to a file seems to work OK. I'm not at my printer right now so I can't tell about printing to a printer. I'll test that next week.
I attached the apt-cache policy output. You probably meant "libpoppler*". I have created my filesystem in the standard xubuntu (10.10) installation. The home directory is in a separate partition and the partition type is ext4. As far as I remember the home directory may be somehow crypted. I got the following apparmor messages after trying to print from the print preview window to a file: --- clip --- [ 1509.750853] type=1400 audit(1313594942.854:14): apparmor="DENIED" operation="chmod" parent=1 profile="/usr/bin/evince-previewer" name="/home/tohoyn/.config/ibus/bus/" pid=2010 comm="evince-previewe" requested_mask="w" denied_mask="w" fsuid=1000 ouid=1000 [ 1513.681824] type=1400 audit(1313594946.786:15): apparmor="DENIED" operation="open" parent=1 profile="/usr/bin/evince-previewer" name="/home/tohoyn/test1.ps" pid=2010 comm="evince-previewe" requested_mask="wc" denied_mask="wc" fsuid=1000 ouid=1000 --- clip --- ** Attachment added: "Output of "apt-cache policy libpoppler*"" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/794512/+attachment/2286175/+files/libpoppler-policy.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/794512 Title: evince prints garbage with PDF files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/794512/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
