It looks like the parameter 'myhostname' in the file
/etc/postfix/main.cf has an ending '.', which is invalid. Could you
please change the line from something like
myhostname = cbest-desktop.hsd1.nm.comcast.net.
to
myhostname = cbest-desktop.hsd1.nm.comcast.net
and let us know if that solves your problem.
