No it didn't happen in natty.  It is similar to what used to happen years
ago on an old thinkpad, 2009 or so.  That was due to compiz, but then I
also saw it with firefox.

I haven't seen it in anything but gnome-terminal - but I only run xterm
in wmii (2-d), so that's not definitive.  I've not seen it in firefox.

It comes and goes.  I do think that it comes in clusters.  (Sorry I've
not used unity on that laptop for at least a few days)
