Public bug reported:

when executing from the command line, specifying specific .png files
(e.g. bash> eog pics/*.png), with each new pic being displayed, eog
outputs the following glib errors:

(eog:18888): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion
`G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed

everything seems to work okay, just the error message is produced...
