Hi, Just curious if the 3.0.0-8.10 kernel was able to boot? I want to narrow down the the window where the regression was likely introduced. The 3.0.0-8.10 i386 deb can be found at:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/oneiric/i386/linux- image-3.0.0-8-generic/3.0.0-8.10 You'll want to uninstall the 3.0.0-8.11 kernel prior to installing the 3.0.0-8.10 kernel to ensure you really do boot into the 3.0.0-8.10 kernel to test. Please let us know your results. Thanks. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Leann Ogasawara (leannogasawara) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/828962 Title: new kernel doesn't boot in 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/828962/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
