problem with 11.04 with Philips Freevents laptop. No output sound
@ubuntu:~$ lspci | grep [Au]dio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio
Controller (rev 02)
tried changing the output in the sound preferences from Duplex to the
other settings but still no sound out. Also tried copying the
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf from ubuntu version 6 (which works with
sound output) to the new version 11.04 distro but still no sound.
