Public bug reported:

It's true that this bug report is not the first of its' kind on here and
has been reported elsewhere.

The problem is this:

System boots fine, I get sound, video, hard drives, USB support works
fine, ethernet works great, WLan works good, CPU frequency stepping
works good. BUT my CPU fan turns at only one speed.

I get the bootup error "Timer cannot be connected to IOAPIC" which I
think has something to do with this.

I did a "sensors-detect" and added the proper modules as well.

Here are some readouts.

IF YOU NEED ANY other information please feel free to ask me by sending me an
email (cactii1<AT>hotmail<DOT>com), this is a common problem and although I am
not a Linux Guru or programmer I will try and help to get this solved. I do NOT
want to revert my system back to Windows.
