Your instructions worked like a charm!
I believe I used 'aptitude' to install the php5-dev package. It is possible
that I did not do a 'U' before selecting the package. I know I refreshed all
components at some point prior to trying the 7.04 update, but it might have
been after I tried to install the PHP5 modules.
