Public bug reported:
4 usb ports on laptop were functioning perfectly before install latest
update to foomatic-filters.
once installed, devices plugged into usb ports aren't recognized
anymore. restarting the computer will sometimes make ports recognizable,
but once unplugged, devices become unrecognized again.
