Hi Masiosare and thanks for testing the new version of Ubuntu!
Please open the sound preferences dialog and go to the "output" tab. Do
you notice if the "connector" combobox switches automatically between
speaker and headphones as you plug/unplug?
When headphones are plugged in and you don't get any sound, could you
check if moving the volume a tiny bit will restore volume to headphones?
