Could you get a more complete backtrace by using this guide:

Looks like it stops at libmtdev, so you'd need the ddebs for libmtdev1,
xserver-xorg-input-evdev and xserver-xorg-core to satisfy gdb. And
attach the full Xorg.0.log.
